My dear sunshine,

You have now reached an age that we had to move you from the daycare that you have been going to, Rostock förskolan, to a much bigger one with older kids...yet another proof of how incredibly fast time flies. You received a scrapbook from Rostock and on one of the first pages, there is something written which I find it suitable to put it here:

My dear sunshine,

I have a confession to make: In the past couple of months, you have been the only light in my life. You have carried me through one of the most difficult periods of my life and if it wasn't for you, I don't where I would be now.

Words can not explain my gratitude to you. You are not the best, you are far beyond the best. You are heavenly, you are my guardian angel and you are way above what I deserve. You have truly shown me the meaning of love.

I am sincerely and most deeply humbled by your love.

Thank you for everything, thank you for being, thank you for who you are.

A blink

My dear sunshine,

Every now and then, you will find that life is so slow and dull. Little do you know that in a blink of an eye, everything - and I literally mean EVERYTHING -  can change so dramatically.

In just a blink...

It is inexplicable at the same time, amazing.

I don't get it!

Perhaps it's just another evidence of the fact that nothing in life is certain, except for my love to you.

Challenges; more of a note to myself

My dear sunshine,

It just strike me the other day that, as far as my relationship and duties toward you are concerned, I have massive challenges ahead of me. I must admit that I get scared at times but I am looking forward to them simultanously.
